Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of chief coordinator of the Investigation Agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) and valiant freedom fighter Abdul Hannan.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister recalled with respect Abdul Hannan's sincerity and efficiency in discharging his duty as the chief coordinator in the investigations of Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's killing case and the jail killing case.
Sheikh Hasina said he served with integrity and courage as the chief coordinator of the Investigation Agency of the ICT.
She prayed for the salvation of the departed soul of Hannan and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Abdul Hannan, 78, passed away at the CMH in the capital on Sunday.
