The Met Office on Monday morning advised the maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra to lower the signal.
On Sunday evening, the maritime ports had been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 after the passage of cyclone ‘Bulbul’ which left a trail of devastation.
A special weather bulletin at 9am on Monday said squally weather is unlikely over North Bay, maritime ports and coastal areas of Bangladesh.
Six people were killed in Bagerhat, Khulna, Patuakhali and Barishal districts after cyclone ‘Bulbul’ had battered Khulna and adjoining south western part of the country on early Sunday.
