He gave the order while visiting the evacuated lands of BR in the city.
The minister said “No one has the right to occupy railway’s land. If any government agency needs railway’s land, it should be taken from the railway authorities following all rules and regulations.”
Regarding the development of rail communication across the country, he said various projects have been undertaken to ensure proper service for people as per the PM’s direction.
He mentioned several new projects including double-gauge railway from Kamlapur to Cox’s Bazar, Padma link and high speed train.
The minister ordered to detain the 23 workers who were found at the construction site.
Nasir Uddin, sub-inspector of Railway Security Force, said they detained 23 workers from the construction site as per the minister’s direction.
Later, they released 21 workers and kept the other two in their custody for interrogation, he added.
