Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted thunderstorms in four divisions, including Dhaka, over 24 hours starting from 6 pm on Friday.
âRain or thunderstorms accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Cumilla and Nokhali,â it said.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, reads the bulletin.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country.
The countryâs highest temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius on Friday in Chuadanga.
Meanwhile, a trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
