The dormitory of Sheikh Hasina Software Technology in Jashore is being used for quarantining physicians, nurses and other health workers amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The local administration said four doctors and six nurses have been kept in quarantine at the dormitory since April 25 after State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak gave the permission.

Around 50 rooms in the two-story dormitory building have been prepared for the frontline fighters of coronavirus, said a press release on Thursday.
The district has so far confirmed 56 coronavirus cases.
Meanwhile, 564 more people tested positive for coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total number of infected people to 7,667 while the death toll stands at 168 with five more deaths on Thursday.
