He wished and congratulated all the graduates who attended the event, recalling in his speech that since Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's visit to the Soviet Union in 1972, many Bangladeshi students from Bangladesh went to the Soviet Union on government scholarships and later returned to Bangladesh and held high positions in the development activities of Bangladesh.
He also said that due to the interest of Bangladeshi students, the Russian government is increasing the number of education scholarships day by day. In the academic year 2023-2024 the number of scholarships was 110 and in the academic year 2024-2025 124 scholarships have been allocated. The Russian House in Dhaka is always active in this regard.
