The envoys will place their three-year plans before the parliamentary standing committee outlining how those plans will be implemented.
The decision was taken at the latest parliamentary standing committee meeting on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the MoFA said Monday.
As part the process, newly-appointed Bangladesh ambassadors to Japan and Romania placed their three-year planning before the parliamentary body outlining how they will work for expatriates and specific programmes for them.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said the government initiative will help boost accountability of envoys.
