“During the meeting, the President thanked the people and the government of Sudan for providing all-out support and assistance over the Rohingya issue,” President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told UNB.
Referring to the excellent bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Sudan, Hamid said the both countries always express same and common opinion on different important issues in the United Nations and other international forums.
He said the commerce and investment ties between Bangladesh and Sudan are increasing gradually and underscored the need for exchanging high-level visits to utilise the potentials of both the countries and further strengthen the existing bilateral relations.
