Bodies of three members of a family were retrieved after a landslide in Islampur Chamelibag residential area in Sylhet city on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Aga Karim Uddin, 31, his wife Rozy Begum, 25 and their son Tanim, 2.
A big chunk of mud collapsed on their house around 6 am, leaving them dead.

Mohammad Harunur Rashid Chowdhury, Officer-in-Charge of Shahporan police station, said police rushed to the spot around 8am and conducted a rescue operation.
Besides, a team of Bangladesh Army joined the rescue operation and then bodies were recovered at noon.
A team of police with the help of local fire service men managed to rescue two members of another family who got trapped after the landslide.
However, the rescue operation was hampered due to several reasons including a narrow alley, said Sylhet City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Anowaruzzaman Chowdhury.
Talking to reporters the SCC mayor said vehicles of the fire service, CCC and soil excavating machines failed to enter the alley due to its narrowness, resulting in a disruption of the rescue operation.
