Amir of Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim Pir Saheb Charmonai on Tuesday said that the responsibility of the United Nations is to stand up for the oppressed Palestinian Muslims and speak out against Israel.
"But we do not see any protest from the United Nations regarding the killing of Muslims in Palestine. On behalf of the oppressed, we will unite and form a resistance," said the Charmonai Pir.

He came up with the remarks while addressing a protest rally and demonstration program organized by IAB at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque to protest against Israel's inhumane attacks on Palestine.
The Amir of the Islami Andalan Bangladesh also said that the countries, including America and Europe, have been anti-humanitarian by supporting the attackers of Muslims for ages. "So it is essential for us to remain on the streets to protest against the persecution and killings of Muslims worldwide," he said.

In his speech, presidium member of the party, Principal Maulana Syed Muhammad Mosaddeq Billah Al Madani, said Muslim awakening has begun, before adding: "The Western countries and India have sided with Israel as Palestinians are active for the recovery of their land."
He said the Muslims would take back their occupied land in any way possible, God willing. "We are ready to give fresh blood to protect Baitul Moqaddas," he said, referring to the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem by its other name.
Principal Sheikh Fazle Bari Masood said with the help of America, the United Nations resolution in 1948 had given Israel the opportunity to settle in the area. Israelis are oppressing Muslims one after another by settling there, he alleged.
