Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in eight divisions, including Dhaka, over 24 hours (starting from 9 am today).
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at many places in Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions; and at a few places in Rajshahi division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places across the country,” said a regular BMD bulletin.

The highest 162 mm rainfall was recorded in Sylhet in 24 hours till 6 am today.
Daytime temperatures may fall slightly, and nighttime temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.

The country’s highest temperature was recorded at 35.8 degree Celsius on Monday in Khulna’s Mongla.
Meanwhile, monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over north Bay.
