President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Monday asked the government employees to perform their duties with devotion and sincerity.
He made the call during a discussion with district government officials at Circuit House on the second day of his visit to Pabna.
During the exchange of views, the government employees highlighted various development projects in Pabna including roads and thoroughfares and Ichamati river dredging.

President Shahabuddin said its quality and completion on time should be ensured in terms of project acceptance and implementation. Care should be taken that people are not harmed in any way.
The president said that every money of the government is properly spent.
The president said that the establishment of community clinics to ensure the health care of marginalised people of the country is a landmark step of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, which is being appreciated worldwide.
He said that those concerned should work sincerely in the construction and management of community clinics.
The president directed public servants to give the highest priority to the public interest in the performance of their duties as servants of the people.
President stresses quality education and research in universities
Secretaries of the president were also present at this time.
Earlier, the resident visited the graves of his parents and in-laws at Pabna Sadar graveyard in Arifpur.
The president prayed for the forgiveness of his parents, in-laws, family members and all others buried in the graveyard.
