BAT Bangladesh has received the Gold Award under the “MNC Manufacturing Category” in the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh's (ICMAB) Best Corporate Award 2022 Competition.
The company received the award for the seventh time in a row at the Grand Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on Tuesday, according to a press release on Thursday.

Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary of the Commerce Ministry; Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC); and Dr Md Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, chairman of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), attended the event, among others.
ICMAB gave the Best Corporate Award to companies that exhibited exceptional performance, transparency, good governance, commitment to society, and accountability. This award, aligned with international standards such as SAFA, CAPA, IFAC, and globally accepted principles, recognised businesses for their effective, economical, and efficient operations, said the release.
