A delegation of Awami League visited the hospital to ask after the injured policemen and journalists during the BNP-police clash on Saturday.
The delegation included Awami League presidium member Abdur Rahman, joint general secretary and information minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Mahbubul Alam Hanif, AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, SM Kamal, South Awami League General Secretary Humayun Kabir, South Joint General Secretary Mohiuddin Mohi.

The leaders first went to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 8 pm on Saturday. Later, they went to Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital around 9 pm and enquired about the situation of the injured policemen.
At that time, Awami League leaders consoled the family members of constable Aminul Parvez, who was killed in the clash on Saturday afternoon and assured the justice of the murder.

Awami League presidium member and former state minister Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak said that BNP terrorists have carried out attacks in the capital in the name of agitation. They also burned two police ambulances, set fire to a hospital.
The Chief Justice's residence was attacked and vandalized. Not just the beginning, our 4 women leaders were not spared from the hands of the terrorists. At least 30 activists from Awami League and its associate bodies were injured, he informed.

Efforts are on to identify these terrorists and no one will be spared, the AL leader warned.
