Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will announce its election manifesto on Wednesday ahead of the 12th parliamentary polls slated for January 7, 2024.
AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will unveil the election manifesto at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in the city at 10:30am.

Out of 44 registered political parties, a total of 27 parties including Awami League and Jatiya Party are running in the general election, which is being boycotted by another major party BNP.
Awami League has been in power for the last 15 years since 2009.

The main opposition in Parliament, Jatiya Party, has already announced its election manifesto ahead of the January-7 election.
