Leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami staged a protest rally in Cumilla city demanding the release of party chief leaders and reducing the price of daily essentials.
The protest rally organised by Jamaat's Cumilla Metropolitan South Unit marched along the roads from Kandirpar to Monohorpur in the city on Friday.
Jamaat-e-Islami central working council member and Comilla Metropolitan Jamaat Ameer Kazi Deen Mohammad led the protest rally.
Mohammad Mosleh Uddin, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Cumilla Metropolitan Jamaat, Secretary Prof. AKM Emdadul Haque Mamun, Assistant Secretary Councilor Mosharraf Hossain, Kamaruzzaman Sohel, Metropolitan Jamaat Working Council Member Adv. Eyaqub Ali Chowdhury, Mohammad Hossain and Kazi Nazir Ahmed spoke at the protest rally.
