He said the Father of the Nation had first instructed the officials to take initiative to reach electricity to the rural areas of Bangladesh as a constitutional obligation.
“We’ve now been following his instructions. Bangabandhu's contribution at every level of state administration and in every aspect of nation building encourages us to work diligently”, he said.
Dr Tawfiq Elahi Chowdhury said that under the leadership of Bangabandhu, the country was moving forward through a constitutional structure in a very short period of time.
“But a national-international conspiracy was trying to stall the country's progress by killing Bangabandhu”, he said.
“Bangladesh now is becoming a middle income country based on the development that Bangabandhu built. A prosperous Bangladesh will be formed by the year 2041 under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”, he added.
