Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque said if anyone wants to sabotage the upcoming national election, the youth of the country, including Awami Jubo League, will face them.
He said this while addressing a discussion marking the 51st founding anniversary of Jubo League at Madhupur Upazila Auditorium in Tangail on Saturday morning.
“Elections will be held in accordance with the constitution. As a progressive and struggling party, as the leading party of independence, it is the responsibility and duty of Awami League to participate in the elections held in accordance with the constitution. There is no scope for Awami League to go beyond the constitution,” Razzaque, an AL presidium member, said.
“Today, Bangladesh is a role model of development all over the world. The whole world salutes Bangladesh. We want to take this development forward. People will appreciate the development we have made in the next elections; Seeing this, Awami League will be brought back to power,” said the minister.

Addressing the local Jubo League leaders and activists, the minister said, "You are the vanguard of Awami League, the wealth of the country. You will enrich the country. Jubo League has to play a leading role in taking the country forward. You have to be the architect of improving the country achieved at the cost of millions of lives. Jubo League has to be built on moral ideology and moral strength.”
Mentioning that Awami Jubo League has played a leading role in all the struggles, movements and crises of the country, the minister said the Jubo League has to be aware of the evil forces of freedom, progress and humanity.
Urging the Jubo League to be aware of the opportunistic leaders and activists of his party, the minister said there are some people within the party who have become owners of money overnight by taking advantage of the facilities, they are engaged in various conspiracies. They often engage in anti-organisation activities for their own interests, for the betterment of their own destiny. You have to be aware of them too.

Presided over by Madhupur Awami Jubo League convener Abu Sayeed Khan and moderated by joint convener Khandaker Alamgir Hossain, the function was addressed, among others, by Central Jubo League Presidium Member Mamunur Rashid, Tangail District Awami League Vice President Bappu Siddique, Member Md Mahfuzur Rahman, among others.
