Bangladesh have been placed in the four-nation Group B of the 2nd round of the AFC U-17 Women's Asia Cup along with Australia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
The Group A team comprises South Korea, Thailand, Iran and India.
The 2nd round of the meet scheduled for September 16-24.
The ceremonial draw for the 2nd round of the meet was held on Thursday ( May 28) at the AFC headquarter in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
Four top teams from the eight- nation 2nd round will earn the rights to play in the eight-team final round of the 2024 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup to be held in Indonesia from April 7-20 next year.
Hosts Indonesia and the top three teams of the 2019 tournament---champions Japan, runners-up North Korea and 3rd ranked China will directly play in the eight-team final round of the meet in Indonesia.
Earlier, Bangladesh qualified for the 2nd round of the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup as the first round champions outplaying Turkmenistan by 6-0 goals and beating host Singapore by 3-0 goals in the qualifying round held in Singapore last month.
