Bangladesh Archery team, riding on Nasrin Akter, clinched three gold medals in the 2022' Asia Cup World Ranking Tournament, Stage-1, that concluded today (Saturday) in the Thai tourist city of Phuket.
A 17-member Bangladesh national Archery team took part in the prestigious continental meet.
Nasrin Akter of Bangladesh clinched the coveted gold medal of the Recurve Women's Singles beating her compatriot Diya Siddique by 6-2 sets in the event's final on Saturday.
Diya Siddique took the events silver medal.
Nasrin Akter pairing with country's celebrated archer M Ruman Shana clinched the gold medals of the Recurve mixed team event defeating their Indian rivals by 5-3 sets in the event's final.
Bangladesh Women's team comprises Nasrin Akter, Diya Siddique and Fahmida Sultana Disha also won the Recurve Women's team event's gold medal beating India by 6-5 sets.

Besides, Bangladesh Men's team finished 4th in the Recurve Men's team event while Hakim Ahmed Rubel of Bangladesh also finished 4th in the Recurve Men's Singles.
In the Compound Men's team event, Bangladesh also placed 4th.
Bangladesh team will return home Sunday noon by a Thai Internationals flight .
