In their first appearance in continental meet, Bangladesh women conceded a humiliating 0-8 goals defeat against former world champions Japan last Friday.

After the day's match, Vietnam topped the Group D list with 2nd consecutive win securing full six points from straight two matches while Asian number team Japan followed the Vietnam collecting full three points from one match.
Two other teams of Group D, Bangladesh and Nepal, are at the bottom without any point, playing two and one match respectively.
In the remaining group D match, Bangladesh will play their well known sub-continental rivals Nepal on September 28.

In the day's match, HY Pham put Vietnam ahead in the very 5th minute (1-0) while TTH Nguyen doubled the margin in the 34th minute (2-0).
TD Tran scored the 3rd goal for Vietnam in the 65th minute (3-0), T Thi Bich Nguyen netted two quick goals for Vietnam in the 71st and 80th minutes respectively (5-0) while TT Thai scored the 6th goal for Vietnam in the 78th minute (6-0).
