They beat Rangers Club by 70-56 points in the last league match at the Dhanmondi wooden floor gymnasium on Sunday.
On Saturday, Dhumketu Club emerged as the new champions with unbeaten records of securing full 10 points from five matches while Hornets SC became runners-up with nine points from the same number of games.
At the competition's closing ceremony, Bangladesh Basketball Federation President Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, also the president of Bangladesh Medical Association, was the chief guest and M Mosaddek Hossain, Unimed UniHealth Pharmaceutical managing director, was the special guest.
Champions Dhumketu Club received prize money of Tk30,000 while runners-up Hornets SC got Tk25,000.
Also, all the six participating teams received appearance money of Tk30,000 each.
In the day's last league match, Hornets SC dominated the first half by 38-23 points.
Wadud scored 24 points, and Elias grabbed 13 points for the winners while Mehedi contributed 22 and Linkon 18 for the losers.
Tariq Aziz of Dhumketu Club was adjudged the most valuable player, Shamsuzaman Khan Shoeb of the same club named as the highest scorer.
And Ishtiaque Noor of Josephites Club was adjudged the most promising player of the league.
