Brothers Union Club emerged champions in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football' 2022-23 beating Gopalganj Sporting Club by 3-0 goal in their last match at the Bir Shreshta Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here on Wednesday.
After the match, BFF vice president Mohiuudin Ahmed Mohi, among others, was present at the prize distribution ceremony and handed over the champions trophy to Brothers Union Club.
The Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union have secured 51 points from 20 matches to be the champions while BFF Elite Football Academy finished league runners-up with 46 points from 20 matches beating Fortis Academy Ltd by 3-1 goal on Tuesday.
Gopalganj SC finished 3rd collecting 34 points from all 20 encounters.
