Champions BKSP have secured 51 golds, 58 silvers and 31 bronze medals, Bangladesh Ansar finished runners-up collecting 24 gold, 17 silvers and 19 bronze medals while Issamoti Swimming Club became 3rd bagging 10 golds, two silver and three bonze medals.
The-three-day swimming diving competition featured 31 new national recordsin 103 events—eleven on the first day, eight one 2nd day and eleven on the 3rd and last day (Thursday).
Mobarak Hossain of BKSP emerged as the best boys swimmer of the meet securing seven gold medals with four new national records while Annie Khatun of Bangladesh Ansar named as the best girls swimmer colecting seven gold medals with one national record.
Swimmer State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ashan Russell was the chief guest at the day’s closing function Thursday afternoon and later he distributed the prizes.
Managing Director of the meet’s sponsor Saif Powertec and Vice President of Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF) Tarafder Mohammad Ruhul Amin was also present as special guest at the function chaired by BSF President and Chief of Bangladesh Navy Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury.
