His marriage ceremony took place at the Golden Palace CPH in the Danish capital of Copenhagen, according to a post made by Premier Division Football Club Saif Sporting Club in its Facebook page.
Sharing a picture of the newlywed couple, the club congratulated Jamal, also skipper of the club football team.
“May the journey be a happy one with peace and harmony, joy and pleasure and romance and passion … best wishes to our nation pride JAMAL BHUIYAN!!” reads the post.
However, the identity of the bride and the date of marriage were not written on the Facebook post.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jamal Harris Bhuiyan was born in Danish town of Glostrup in 1990 and grew up there with his family.
He made his debut for Bangladesh National Football team against Nepal in the SAFF Championship’2013 and became the country’s first non-resident footballer to represent the national side.
He also led Bangladesh National Football team, Bangladesh Under-23 National Football team and Saif SC.
Jamal left the country for Denmark after the elimination of his team Saif SC in the quarterfinals of the just-concluded Federation Cup Football losing to newcomers Police FC on December 31.
