Bangladesh found themselves in a precarious position losing four wickets for under 50 runs in their first Super Four match in the Asia Cup against Pakistan in Lahore on Wednesday.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who had shone as an opener with a century in the previous match, opened the innings once more but faltered this time, succumbing to a first-ball duck.
Litton Das, who had recently returned to the team after recovering from a fever, began impressively, striking four fours to accumulate 16 runs before falling to a short delivery from Shaheen Shah Afridi.
