Former Indian all-rounder, Sridharan Sriram, has been reappointed as the Technical Consultant for the Bangladesh National Team for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup taking place in India.
Sriram is set to join the Bangladesh squad in Guwahati right from the commencement of their World Cup campaign. The team is slated to play two practice matches on 29 September and 02 October against Sri Lanka and England, respectively, in Guwahati, before heading to Dharamshala for the tournament opener against Afghanistan on 07 October.

This is not Sriram's first stint with the Bangladesh team. He previously served as the Technical Consultant during the Asia Cup T20 in the UAE, the Twenty20 tri-nation series in New Zealand, and the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in Australia in 2022.
Prior to this, he held the position of assistant coach for the Australian team from 2018 to 2022. From 2015 to 2018, Sriram was a consultant coach for Cricket Australia.

During his playing days, Sriram represented India in eight ODIs between 2000 and 2004. He boasts an illustrious first-class career spanning nearly 18 years.
