The 7th edition of the Salon du Chocolat, a fair reuniting over a hundred chocolate makers, pastry chefs, confectioners, and cocoa producers, opened here Thursday in the Belgian capital.
The fair kicked off with the traditional Chocolate Fashion Show, showcasing around a dozen spectacular creations dreamed up by duos of Belgian chocolatiers and designers.
In the next three days, several events are lined up for visitors of all ages, including demonstration of recipes by the great chefs and chocolate makers, as well as tastings and pastry lessons.
Experts and enthusiasts will also explain all the subtleties of chocolate and cocoa through workshops.
Moreover, the fair will be playing host to several cocoa-producing countries and cooperatives, which will be here to present their region's chocolates.
