One person was killed and nine others were injured in a clash over land feud in Patuakhali’s Galachipa on Friday noon.
The deceased was Md. Dhalai Mir (45), a local tea seller.
The incident took place in Dakua Union’s Bridge bazar area at around 12 am.

Jasim Mir and his sister Helena Begum have a long growing feud over land.
After a discussion for solution with the people of both parties at Mainuddin’s tea stall, Jasim Mir's son Miraj Mir attacked along with 10-16 companions injuring at least 10 people.
Seriously injured Mohammad Dhalai Mir and Mainuddin Mir were taken to Upazila Health Complex.

From there Mainuddin was referred to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and died on the way to the hospital.
Galachipa Police Station officer-in-charge Shawkat Anwar said the body was recovered and sent for autopsy to Patuakhali hospital morgue.
