Three respected educators from Meherpur Sadar and Gangni Upazila passed away on Thursday due to old age complications.
Masudul Hasan, former sports teacher at Meherpur Government College, prominent sportsperson, and cultural figure, died at a private hospital in Dhaka at 9 pm while undergoing treatment.
Quoting the family, local school teacher Faizul Kabir said that teacher Masudul Hasan had been suffering from multiple age-related illnesses for a long time.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at 2:10 pm Friday at Amjhupi Fazil Madrasa in Sadar Upazila, followed by burial at the local graveyard.
Mohammad Alauddin Master, retired headmaster of Meherpur Uttarpara Primary School, passed away at around 10:30 pm on Thursday after a prolonged illness.
His son, Abdus Salam, shared that he had been undergoing treatment at home. His namaz-e-janaza will be held at 10:30 am at the Sheikhpara Eidgah Maidan in Meherpur city, and he will be buried in the graveyard.
Ashraful Islam (Mola Master), retired headmaster of a primary school in Sahebnagar village, passed away at 9:30 pm on Thursday at home after suffering from various complex diseases, including respiratory issues.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at 2 pm in the local graveyard after the prayer in Sahebnagar village.
