Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque warned the dealers of cancelling licenses for creating an artificial crisis of fertilizer and selling at an increased price.
He said this in a seminar at the Bangladesh Agriculture Research Council premises in the city’s Farmgate area.
He said there is enough stock of all kinds of necessary fertilizers to fulfill the demands till January next year.
“Licenses will be cancelled and punitive measures will be taken against those who create any artificial fertilizers crisis,” said Abdur Razzaque.
