Bangladesh will celebrate World Children’s Day with due fervor on Monday with the theme “Let’s invest for children, build the future world”.
Besides celebrating the World Children’s Day, the country will also observe Child Rights Week 2023 from October 2-October 8.

On the occasion of World Children's Day and Children's Rights Week, Bangladesh Shishu Academy, UNICEF, national and international children's groups, and development organizations have arranged a variety of programmes, said a press release from the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
There will be poetry recitations, painting competitions, wall painting, debate competitions, quiz competitions, cultural programmes, children's dialogues, sports, a tree planting program, and round table meetings for children.

Various children's organizations also have arranged separate programmess on education, development, children's rights, and child protection.
Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, and several private television channels will air programmes marking the World Children's Day.

Buildings and important highways in Dhaka will be decorated with posters, PVC, and festoon banners.
World Children's Day and Children's Rights Week will be observed in all districts and upazilas, added the press release.
