Dhaka, Sept 8 (UNB)- A new trust fund - ‘Bijoy Ekattar Hall Trust Fund’ has been established for Dhaka University (DU) students on Sunday.
The provost of Bijoy Ekattar Hall, Prof Dr A J M Shafiul Alam Buiyan, handed over the Tk 80 lack cheque for the und to the treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin at a function in the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
VC Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Dean of DU Arts Faculty Prof Dr Abu Md Delwar Hosain, Dean of Biological Sciences Faculty Prof Dr Md Imdadul Hoque, Acting Registrar Md Enamuzzaman, Hall union GS Najmul Hasan Nishan, AGS Abu Younus were present on the occasion.
Along with the trust fund every year Provost Gold Medal, Provost Award and Scholarships will be given to the meritorious students of Bijoy Ekattar Hall.
