A one and half month-old child on Tuesday tested positive for Covid-19 in Kushtia.
Kushtia General Hospital (KGH) doctors say this was the first Covid-19 case in the district found in such a young body.
The child was brought to the hospital by his parents with a cold and fever. Hospital Superintendent Dr MA Momen said the child was admitted to the hospital's children's ward on Monday with a cold and fever.
The on-duty doctors suspected Covid-19 symptoms and collected samples for testing, the same day.
