Islamic University, Sept 9 (UNB) - The authorities of Islamic University (IU) introduced a dental unit aiming to provide dental treatment to the students on the campus on Monday.
IU vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the dental unit at the university’s medical center as the chief guest around 10:30 am.
IU pro-vice-chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, treasurer Professor M Selim Toha and acting registrar SM Abdul Latif were present on the occasion as the special guests with acting chief of the medical center SM Nazrul Islam in the chair.
Two dentists had been appointed to provide service to the students, said IU VC said.
IU transport administrator Professor Rezuanul Islam, student’ advisor Professor Paresh Chandra Barman, IU medical doctors Shahinul Azim and Ashrafuzzaman Nuton also attended the programme.
