Natore district police have arrested a 24-year-old truck driver from Doshmile in Dinajpur district for killing his truck owner in Natore on Tuesday afternoon.
The arrestee is Labu, who fled with the truck after killing the owner. He hails from Jaburi Dowar village under Sadar police station of Panchagarh district.
Natore District Police Spokesman Sub-inspector Ashrafur Rahman confirmed the matter.
The truck and the jack lever which was used in the murder have been recovered, said the SI.

The deceased Nur Islam (51) of Babuani Jot village in Panchagarh district was killed inside the truck by Labu with the help of his accomplices on Sunday.
Later, Nur Islam's body was dumped on the Natore-Bogura highway in Jamnagar of Singra upazila.
The next day, Natore's Singra police recovered the body from the spot.
The family of the truck owner was informed after his identity was confirmed with the help of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), said SI Ashrafur.

On October 23, Basir Uddin, elder brother of deceased Nur Islam, filed a case at Singra Police Station against unidentified people over the matter.
After the legal process, a special team of the district police led by Singra Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman conducted the operation to arrest the suspect.
Through information technology and intelligence sources, Labu's whereabouts was confirmed and he was arrested from Dinajpur's Doshmile area.

During the initial interrogation, Labu said according to the earlier plan, the owner of his truck, Nur Islam, was first strangled and then was hit on the head with a jack lever.
