A Dhaka court on Thursday granted bail to a father involving a case over the clash with a physician of Mugda Medical College Hospital centering the admission of his daughter infected with dengue to the hospital.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Asheque Imam passed the order after hearing a petition in this regard, said Selim Khan, sub-inspector (SI) at the general registration section of Mugda police station in the the court.

The police station’s SI Md Abdul Manan, also investigating officer of the case, said the accused admitted that he mistakenly misbehaved with the physicians as he was mentally shattered and apologised for that.
Defenxe counsel Moradul Arefin said it was a bailable case and his client was a victim of circumstances.

As the plaintiff physician had no objection to grant bail, the court granted bail on a bond of Tk 5000, he said.
