Flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport resumed on Monday morning after a six-hour disruption caused by thick fog.
Flights on domestic routes remained suspended since 3:30am, Beni Madhab Biswas, deputy director of Dhaka airport, told UNB.
Besides, three international flights were delayed while a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines was diverted to Kolkata.
Flight operations resumed around 9:44am, said the official.
Thick fog often disrupts operations at the country’s airports during winter.
