Our photographer found that the problem is being made worse by the fact that waste is being dumped on the side of the road in many areas of the city, since there is no specific system for waste disposal.

Black columns of smoke can be seen rising from these disposal sites. And it is usually the cleaners employed by the city corporations who are engaged in this work.
