The Islamic University Officers' Association (IUOA) on Monday put forth a 13-point charter of demands to the university authorities including increasing their retirement age by five years to 65.
They made the demands in a memorandum signed by IUOA convener Alamgir Hossain Khan and its member-secretary Abdul Hannan around 1:30pm.

Apart from raising retirement age, they demanded changing office hours of the university from 8am to 3pm and appointing heads of all offices permanently.

The officers of different offices submitted the memorandum to Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam, IUOA convener Alamgir Hossain Khan said.
