Aiming at a successful vaccination campaign in the district, Khulna Deputy Commissioner Helal Hossain held a press briefing to inform the public of details on Saturday.

Khulna DC briefed that 168,000 shots of the vaccine have been allotted for Khulna district on a primary basis. Some 48,960 doses are for the city corporation area. Already all the centres have received the allotted amount of vaccine shots.
“For the metropolitan vaccination centers, 29 teams and for the upazilas, 27 teams have been trained. Two vaccinators and four volunteers will work in each team,” informed DC Helal.

The vaccination campaign will remain open from 8am to 4 pm each day and each centre will aim to disburse 150 shots per day.
