The organisations, including Bangladesh Hindu Buddha Christian Oikya Parishad,announced the programme at a press conference at Paltan in the city, said a media release.
During the period, they will stage demonstrations, form human chains, observe hunger strike and blockade across the country for two hours on Monday, and will continue various programmes till January 27.
On January 24, they will hold daylong mass sit-in programme.
Prof Dr Neem Chandra Bhowmick, who presided over the meeting, said they will announce fresh programmes on January 28 if the Election Commission does not defer the polls, the release said.
Meanwhile, about 40students of Dhaka University went on fast unto death demanding deferment of the polls to the two Dhaka city corporations slated for January 30.
DU VC and threeother teachers expressed solidarity with the protesting students.
