Brazilian Ambassador to Bangladesh Joao Tabajara De Oliveira Junior on Monday paid a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the evening.
During the meeting, the outgoing ambassador expressed his gratitude to the president for his support, Joynal Abedin, president’s press secretary told reporters.
President Hamid said that Bangladesh and Brazil can expand their bilateral trade relations.
He stressed the need for more bilateral visits, especially of trade delegations, between the two countries.

Secretary to the President's Office Sampad Barua and Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam were also present on the occasion.
