Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday hosted a dinner at Ganabhaban in honour of the artists and crew of the biopic of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation' (Mujib:Ekti Jatir Rupakar).
During the dinner, the premier exchanged pleasantries with the invited guests and inquired of their wellbeing, said PM's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon.

Sheikh Hasina urged those concerned to produce such films in the future so that the new generation can know the history properly.
She directed the concerned people to renovate and reopen the cinema halls, which were shut down in different districts of the country.
Later, the prime minister handed over mementos to the artists and crew of the film.

Famous Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal has directed the film 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation,' depicting the life and political works of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
On Thursday, Sheikh Hasina, also the eldest daughter of Bangabandhu, watched the premiere show of the biopic at Bangladesh Film Archive at Agargaon in the city.
The film was released simultaneously in theaters across the country on Friday.
