A three-member probe committee was formed to investigate the allegations of misconduct and abuse against the headmaster with students and guardians of Gaibandha Government Girls High School.
Gaibandha Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Oliur Rahman on Sunday formed the committee headed by Additional DC Md Zahid Hasan Siddiqui and asked to submit its report within three days.
Two other members of the committee are district’s secondary education officer Roksana Begum and Executive Magistrate Moumita Guh Iva.

The committee’s Convenor Zahid Hasan said they have already started the investigation into the allegations brought against Headmaster Shusanto umar Dev of the school.
On Sunday, hundreds of the school girls formed a human chain, staged demonstrations and blocked the city’s DB road demanding removal of the headmaster in front of the Public Library.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to the DC containing the demand for the withdrawal.
According to the memorandum, the headmaster misbehaved, abused and showed objectionable signs with the students and their parents for a long time.

As the students got no remedy for the harassment despite talking to the headmaster earlier, rather the accused intensified his misbehavior and threatened to take actions.
Accused Shusanto Kumar admitting the formation of the probe committee said that the real scenery will be unveiled through the report.
