“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a blessing for the nation,” he said while speaking at a seminar organised by Bangabandhu Academy marking the 39th Homecoming Day of Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Jatiya Press Club.
The Foreign Minister said Bangladesh would turn into a developed country achieving all the development goals under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, said an official release.
He said the countries which are doing well economically will always create some enemies.
On May 17, 1981, Sheikh Hasina returned home after six years in exile following the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of her family members by a cabal of army officers on the night of August 15, 1975.
Former State Minister for Home Affairs Adv Shamsul Haque Tuku, among others, spoke at the discussion chaired by Bangabandhu Academy Vice President Sheikh Iqbal Khokan.
