The Minister came up with the call while talking at a video conference at the inaugural ceremony of a bangalow ‘Padma’ beside Dhaka-Mawa expressway.
The bangalow was constructed at a cost of TK 7.7 crore in Munshiganj.
Replying to a comment of BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul that the government has been in power without people’s mandate, the Awami League General Secretary said, “Reviewing the recent elections it has been seen that the people of the country has rejected BNP in most cases as it has failed to forge any movement or win any election.”
Secretary to the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry Nazrul Islam, chief engineer of Roads and Highways Department Shahrier Hossain, additional chief engineer of Dhaka Roads zone Sabuj Uddin Khan and officials concerned of Department of Roads, Munshiganj were present there.
