Tension spread on Saturday night after a controversial message appeared on the digital billboard's scrolling display at Khulna Railway Station.
Following the incident, local students and the public detained one individual, who was later handed over to the police.
According to local students, and videos of the incident, the scrolling message on the digital billboard read, "Chhatra League will return in a more dangerous form. Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina will return."
Upon seeing this message, the local students gathered at the railway station in protest. During this time, a man named Aslam Hossain Sentu, an employee at the station, was suspected of being involved in the incident, and detained by the crowd before being handed over to the police.
Mohammad Ferdous Alam Khan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulna Railway Police, said, "We received information in the evening about a controversial message appearing on the digital scrolling display. Aslam Hossain Sento was controlling this message, and he was detained by the local people and railway authorities. We arrived and took him into custody. Legal action will be taken against him."
