Three people who have been kept at the isolation unit at the Institute of Health Technology in Akkekpur upazila tested negative for Covid-19.
District Civil Surgeon Dr Md Selim Mia said the three were taken to the isolation unit on Saturday with fever, cough, sore throat and respiratory problems.
Later, their samples were sent to Dhaka for test. The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) found these negative for Covid-19 on Monday, he added.
Currently, 137 people are maintaining quarantine in the district while five are undergoing treatment at isolation unit.
