Two brothers drowned while playing beside a ditch at Sandipasa village in Abhaynagar upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Hasan, 2, and his twin brother Hussain, 2, sons of Majed Sheikh of the village.
Officer-in-Charge of Abhaynagar Police Station Tajul Islam said they were playing beside a ditch in the afternoon.
Later, family members found their bodies floating on the water body, the OC added.
Doctor declared them dead when they were rushed to a hospital, he said.
